NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company is now offering medical professional liability insurance to physicians and health care professionals in Arizona. This is the twelfth state to come under the parent company’s umbrella as part of NORCAL Mutual’s national expansion plan, which includes the introduction of a new enhanced policy, and the transition of policyholders from Medicus Insurance Company.
“We have been serving the Arizona market since 2008 as Medicus, and are very excited to continue the relationships that have been cultivated over the years. As our national expansion continues, we are squarely focused on retaining our strong local relationships, while bringing all of the benefits and resources that come with being part of a national company,” said NORCAL Mutual’s Chief Business Development Officer Ron Rumin.
In line with its mission, NORCAL Mutual continually reviews the coverages offered to ensure they meet the needs of today’s medical practices. This new policy being implemented with each new market entry includes enhancements to the cyber liability and administrative defense coverages, as well as additional available premium credits and expanded billing options.
