NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company, one of the largest medical professional liability insurance companies in the nation, has expanded its coverage area to include Kentucky. As part of the company’s national expansion plan, NORCAL Mutual is offering a new enhanced policy and transitioning its policyholders from subsidiary Medicus Insurance Company to the parent company.
“We have built strong partnerships in Kentucky through Medicus over the past four years, and we are squarely focused on building on to these relationships and bringing all of the benefits and resources that come with being part of a national company,” said NORCAL Mutual’s Chief Business Development Officer Ron Rumin.
NORCAL Mutual continually reviews the coverages offered to ensure they meet the needs of today’s medical practices. This new policy being implemented with each new market entry includes enhancements to the cyber liability and administrative defense coverages, as well as additional available premium credits and expanded billing options.
