NORCAL Provides Premium Relief for California Policyholders Affected by the Wildfires Through December 3

As our California policyholders recover from the devastating effects of the wildfires, NORCAL has extended premium payment due dates for all policyholders in designated wildfire disaster counties to ensure they are able to work through the aftermath without any disruption of coverage.

Any premium installment payment due between Oct. 17 through Dec. 2 will be adjusted with a new due date of Dec. 3. Accounts that are enrolled in automatic payment withdrawals via ACH will continue as scheduled; however, if the policyholder would like to delay payment until Dec. 3, they may contact Customer Service.

Due to the severe impact and debilitating effects of Hurricane Irma, NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company is providing premium payment relief to all policyholders throughout Florida and Georgia.

NORCAL will extend premium payment due dates for those impacted by Hurricane Irma until December 3 to ensure policyholders are able to work through the aftermath of the storm without any disruption of coverage.  Additionally, no cancellations will be issued during this grace period to those affected by the storm.

Suspension of Non-renewal and Cancellations for Illinois Disaster Counties through Sept. 30, 2017

Due to severe flooding, Cook, Kane, Lake, and McHenry counties in Illinois have been declared as disaster areas by Governor Bruce Rauner. As a courtesy to our policyholders in these affected areas as they work through the aftermath of the storms, NORCAL Mutual  will not issue any non-renewals until this measure has  lifted on September 30, 2017.

Additionally no Notices of Cancellation will be issued until September 30, 2017.  Any Notices of Cancellations that were generated on or after July 12, 2017, prior to NORCAL being notified, have been lifted.

The Illinois Department of Insurance is available for filing a complaint regarding any disaster-related dispute or issue. Consumers may call the Department’s toll-free complaint hotline at 866.445.5364, or file a complaint online at: https://mc.insurance.illinois.gov/messagecenter.nsf
