As part of the company’s national expansion plan, NORCAL Mutual is offering a new enhanced policy and transitioning its policyholders from subsidiary Medicus Insurance Company to the parent company.

NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company is now offering medical professional liability insurance to physicians and health care professionals in Arizona. This is the twelfth state to come under the parent company’s umbrella as part of NORCAL Mutual’s national expansion plan, which includes the introduction of a new enhanced policy, and the transition of policyholders from Medicus Insurance Company.
Scott Diener, president and chief executive officer of NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company, was voted on to the board of directors. Diener is the first officer of the company to serve in this capacity. His board position will be up for election by policyholders in 2017. The addition of Diener brings the board membership to 11 members.
